Beam 9555 SatDOCK

The new SatDOCK 9555 for the Iridium 9555 satellite phone can be used in any type of fixed site or vehicle application in which the customer wants to have the flexibility of having a portable handset to take with them. The SatDOCK 9555 can be used in vehicles, maritime applications, and in fixed site applications with the Iridium 9555 satellite phone.

Terminal Features:

• The new SatDOCK 9555 will charge the Iridium 9555 handset while in the dock.
• The 9555 does not require the antenna to be removed to inset the handset in the SatDOCK cradle.
• The RAM universal mounting bracket is smaller due to the lower location on the rear of the Dock.
• The antenna and power cables no longer need to be connected to the Dock as these are now hard wired from the dock itself. SatDOCk 9555 has an eject button on the top of the cradle instead of on the handset.
• The SatDOCK 9555 can be interfaced with the optional intelligent handset. The intelligent handset provides additional privacy and allows you to dial directly from the intelligent handset and send/receive SMS messages. Additional cabling in 5,15,and 30 meter lengths also allows for the intelligent handset to be mounted away from where the actual 9555 handset is mounted.
• A privacy handset is also available for the SatDOCK 9555. The privacy handset plugs into the side earpiece of the Iridium 9555 phone, however, since the hands free interface and speaker are included with the SatDOCK 9555 you will still hear and audible ring when someone tries to call your satellite phone.
